There's no place like home for Mauldin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Woodmont Wildcats 58-31. The Mavericks haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Mauldin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zara Leamon led the charge by going 7-for-14 to rack up 17 points and five steals. Leamon is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Imani McIver, who went 7-for-10 en route to 17 points and six rebounds.

Mauldin smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 13 consecutive matchups.

Mauldin's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Woodmont, they now have a losing record of 12-13.
