The DuBois Beavers will head out on the road to square off against the Brookville Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brookville took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on DuBois, who comes in off a win.
On Friday, DuBois didn't have too much trouble with Connellsville as they won 38-24. Given the Beavers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Falcons are ranked 293rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Trey Wingard, who threw for 358 yards and four TDs while picking up 15.6 yards per attempt. His passing game has become a key predictor of DuBois' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. London Duncan got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Duncan, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
DuBois didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Samson Deeb.
Meanwhile, Brookville played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 48-28 to Port Allegany. The Raiders were down 41-14 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
DuBois will have to contain Sam Krug as he made an impact in Brookville's last game. He rushed for 154 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Brookville's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for DuBois, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
Everything came up roses for DuBois against Brookville in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 41-7 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Raiders' Anthony Ceriani, who rushed for 175 yards and one score.
