Richland extended their postseason success on Saturday against Centennial. They never let the Spartans get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Royals as they're now sitting on three straight.
Not much got past Stacy Jennings, who gave up just seven hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Centennial off the board. Jennings has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kennedy Parry, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Richland's victory bumped their record up to 32-4. As for Centennial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 29-8-1.
Richland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Abilene on the 7th. Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
