Basketball Recap: Rule Takes a Loss

Rule was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Jayton Jaybirds 60-6. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1458th, while the Jaybirds are ranked 480th).

Rule's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Jayton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 19-11 record this season.

Rule has already played their next game (against Aspermont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Jayton is taking a road trip to face off against Rotan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
