Soccer Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss

Monroe lost against Bishop Fenwick back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hornets fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 1-0. Monroe have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Bishop Fenwick, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Monroe will take on Ross at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Ross will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Monroe surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bishop Fenwick, they will face off against Valley View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Fenwick will be up against Valley View's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.25 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
