Volleyball Recap: Gray Stone Day's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Union Academy, Gray Stone Day was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Albemarle Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Gray Stone Day walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 23-25, 25-16, 25-17.

Gray Stone Day's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11. As for Albemarle, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Gray Stone Day is set to face off against their familiar foe South Stanly at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Albemarle will take on rival North Stanly at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
