Basketball Recap: New Albany Comes Up Short

New Albany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 58-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Providence Pioneers. The Bulldogs lost against the Pioneers in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 70-44 score last time.

New Albany's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Providence, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

New Albany will head out on the road to square off against Scottsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. New Albany is facing Scottsburg at the right time seeing as Scottsburg is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Providence, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
