Okemos extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-4. They were beaten by the Holt Rams 42-14. The Wolves were not able to make up for their loss to the Rams from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Although Okemos took the loss, they still got scores from Xavier Ford and Brett Burak.

Holt's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mikah Williams, who rushed for 79 yards and one TD, and also picked up 51 receiving yards and one score. Williams showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 59 yards. Another rusher making a difference was Ladon Hatcher, who rushed for 169 yards and one touchdown.

Looking ahead, Okemos will head out to take on Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Holt, they will welcome DeWitt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 15 points per game this season, so the Rams' offense will have their work cut out for them.
