Softball Recap: Great Bridge Wildcats vs. King's Fork Bulldogs

In what's become a running theme this season, Great Bridge gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over the King's Fork Bulldogs. The high-scoring effort was just what Great Bridge needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Kassidy Dashiell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Dashiell has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive pitching appearances. Dashiell was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Cassie Kleier was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Steckline, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
