Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bloomington South). They blew past the Washington Hatchets 7-0 on Saturday. It was an even better day for Valerie Bunde as she scored three goals for her team.

The win made it two in a row for Bloomington South and bumps their season record up to 4-2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two matchups. As for Washington, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Bloomington South will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Terre Haute North Vigo at 7:30 p.m. This will be Bloomington South's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Washington, they are taking a road trip to square off against Gibson Southern at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
