Basketball Recap: Houston Victorious

Houston won the last time they faced Kenyon-Wanamingo and things went their way on Thursday too. The Houston Hurricanes walked away with a 56-47 victory over the Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights. The Hurricanes' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Aubry Boldt continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 11-for-19 on her way to 29 points along with six boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jorja Meyer, who posted 13 points and six rebounds.

Houston smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

Houston's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Kenyon-Wanamingo, they dropped their record down to 7-21 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Houston nor Kenyon-Wanamingo have any future games scheduled.
