For the second straight game, Alta will face off against Skyline. The Hawks will head out to square off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Alta is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Alta needed a bit of extra time to put away Skyline. They skirted past the Eagles 12-11. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

For Skyline's part, they got a good showing from Carson Atkinson, who tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Atkinson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Hayes Marshall led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Cole Muse, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Skyline and nudges their season record down to 6-11. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Alta, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.
