Baseball Recap: Metea Valley Mustangs vs. Wheaton North Falcons

Metea Valley managed to slip by Wheaton North the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mustangs came up short against the Falcons on Friday, falling 16-3. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Connor Lavery made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Owen Goeb, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
