Soccer Game Preview: McGill-Toolen vs. Fairhope

The McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets will head out on the road to square off against the Fairhope Pirates at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

McGill-Toolen is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alabama's top teams: Oak Mountain, who was ranked fourth at the time (McGill-Toolen was ranked 20th). The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Friday. The result kept the Yellowjackets happy, as they haven't lost a game since February 8th.

Meanwhile, Fairhope entered their tilt with Bayshore Christian back in February with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Eagles.

McGill-Toolen's draw gives them a new season record of 4-3-2. As for Fairhope, their win bumped their record up to 4-2-1.

McGill-Toolen skirted past Fairhope 1-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will McGill-Toolen repeat their success, or does Fairhope have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
