Basketball Recap: Westfield Area Comes Up Short

Westfield Area lost against Wisconsin Dells back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Westfield Area Pioneers took a hard 63-46 fall against the Wisconsin Dells Chiefs. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Chiefs are ranked 113th).

Westfield Area dropped their record down to 3-3 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Wisconsin Dells, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Westfield Area wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 72-21 victory against Necedah on the 6th. As for Wisconsin Dells, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 78-69 win against Mauston on the 6th.
