Volleyball Recap: Mounds View Comes Up Short

Mounds View was the 3-1 winner over White Bear Lake when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell 3-1 to the Bears on Tuesday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: White Bear Lake scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 21-25, 25-22, 25-19.

Mounds View's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for White Bear Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mounds View is set to take on their familiar foe Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, White Bear Lake will face off against rival Cretin-Derham Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
