Columbus East's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Covenant Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Columbus East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Herron on the 8th. As for Covenant Christian, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter on the 8th.
