Softball Recap: Straughn Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Straughn's offense. They fell just short of the Andalusia Bulldogs by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Straughn's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Andalusia, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Straughn will take on Geneva at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Andalusia, they will square off against Charles Henderson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
