After low-scoring totals in their previous five matchup, Ballard brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They put the hurt on the Carroll Tigers with a sharp 16-4 victory on Monday. The Bombers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

With the win, Ballard broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5. As for Carroll, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ballard beat the Tigers by a score of 12-4 later that day.
