Soccer Recap: Kashmere Has No Trouble Against Wheatley

The matchup between Kashmere and Wheatley on Friday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Kashmere Fighting Rams blew past the Wheatley Wildcats 7-1. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Fighting Rams' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Kashmere's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Wheatley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Kashmere will be playing in front of their home fans against Worthing at 12:00 p.m. on February 15th. Kashmere is facing Worthing at the right time seeing as Worthing is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Wheatley will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Northside at 6:00 p.m. on February 19th.
