Volleyball Recap: Tori Hugenberg and Ana Rice Secure Win for Seymour

Seymour won the last time they faced Peoria and things went their way on Saturday too. The Indians came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0.

Seymour was led to victory by Ana Rice and Tori Hugenberg. Rice had 11 digs, while Hugenberg had 11 assists and four digs. Those 11 assists gave Hugenberg a new career-high.

Seymour's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Peoria, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Seymour didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against West Prairie on the 4th. As for Peoria, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Springfield Southeast on the 4th.
