Basketball Recap: Bryson Schofield Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Chapin

White Knoll won the last time they faced Chapin and things went their way on Saturday too. The White Knoll Timberwolves snuck past the Chapin Eagles with a 42-38 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Timberwolves.

White Knoll's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryson Schofield, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. Schofield has been hot, having posted ten or more boards the last six times he's played. Jackson Lorick was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.

White Knoll's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-10. As for Chapin, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. White Knoll will venture away from home to take on River Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chapin, they will head out to face off against Irmo at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Irmo is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.5 points per game this season.
