Gretna had won three straight games and Lily Zimmerman did her part to make it four on Saturday. The Dragons came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Elkhorn North Wolves with plenty of help from Zimmerman, who had 12 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Gretna's win bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Elkhorn North, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-6.

Gretna didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Norris on the 11th. As for Elkhorn North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Waverly on the 11th.
