NCSSM: Morganton is a perfect 3-0 against Draughn since April of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Dragons will welcome the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (NCSSM: Morganton has four straight victories, Draughn has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

On Thursday, NCSSM: Morganton sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Owen. That's two games straight that NCSSM: Morganton have won by just one goal.

Colette Stokas and Nicole Taylor scored both of NCSSM: Morganton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 26 goals.

Draughn had taken Avery County down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end last Monday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 3-2.

Draughn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-1. As for NCSSM: Morganton, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2-1.

NCSSM: Morganton skirted past Draughn 2-1 in their previous matchup back in March. Will the Dragons repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
