Baseball Game Preview: Sebeka Trojans vs. Pillager Huskies

Sebeka is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Friday. They will head out to face off against the Pillager Huskies at 4:30 p.m. Pillager took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Sebeka, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Sebeka got the win against Walker-Hackensack-Akeley by a conclusive 13-2.

Meanwhile, Pillager came up short against Royalton on Thursday and fell 8-5.

Alex Brandt made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Elliott Imdieke, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Sebeka couldn't quite get it done against Pillager in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 5-1. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
