Basketball Recap: Elmore County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Elmore County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Glenwood Gators, falling 48-26.

Glenwood's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Halle Palmore, who posted eight points in addition to eight rebounds and seven assists. Those seven assists gave Palmore a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lillie Moody, who went 6-for-9 to rack up 13 points and five boards.

Elmore County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Glenwood, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Elmore County will head out to take on Stanhope Elmore at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Glenwood, they will venture away from home to square off against Lanett at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
