Voyager turns things around after tough road loss

Recap: Voyager Vikings vs. Falls Lake Firebirds
There's no place like home for the Voyager Vikings, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Wednesday. They took down Falls Lake 58-40 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Voyager also won the last time the pair played back in November.
Voyager's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dwight Anderson led the charge by scoring 9 points along with 9 rebounds. Alex Wilder was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Voyager now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Falls Lake, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Voyager will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Southern Alamance at 6:30 p.m. on December 20th. As for Falls Lake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bunn at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Bunn focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Wednesday.
