Mayfield and Organ Mountain are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but not for long. The Mayfield Trojans will be playing at home against the Organ Mountain Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mayfield has 20 straight wins, Organ Mountain has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Monday, Mayfield blew past Gadsden, posting a 48-14 victory. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Organ Mountain lost 61-39 to Centennial on Monday.

Mayfield pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.9 points over those games. As for Organ Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-17.

Everything went Mayfield's way against Organ Mountain in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Mayfield made off with a 55-31 victory. Does Mayfield have another victory up their sleeve, or will Organ Mountain turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
