Soccer Game Preview: Northwestern vs. Fort Mill

The Northwestern Trojans will take on the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwestern has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 23.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Northwestern and Clover have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Trojans took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Eagles. While losing is never fun, Northwestern can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 146th, while Clover are ranked 19th).

Meanwhile, Fort Mill didn't have quite enough to beat Rock Hill on Friday and fell 2-1. Fort Mill have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Fort Mill, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
