Softball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

The Rogers Rams came up short against the Lima Senior Spartans on Friday, falling 14-4. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Da'Mya Boles was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Lima Senior, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Rogers will head out on the road to face off against Bowsher at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The BlueRacers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.33 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lima Senior, they will welcome Shawnee at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
