Football Game Preview: Adrian Maples vs. Ypsilanti Grizzlies + Official Tickets

The Adrian Maples will head out to square off against the Ypsilanti Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ypsilanti took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Adrian, who comes in off a win.

Adrian will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Tecumseh, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Maples took down the Indians 23-7 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Maples sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 37 points the game before, Ypsilanti was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 35-6 loss at the hands of Chelsea. The Grizzlies have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Adrian's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Ypsilanti, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Adrian won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, slipping by Ypsilanti 39-38. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Grizzlies' Tyrese Rawls, who rushed for 263 yards and four scores while picking up 12.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 79 yards and one touchdown on only six passes.
