El Dorado is a perfect 10-0 against Hot Springs since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The El Dorado Wildcats will venture away from home to take on the Hot Springs Trojans at 5:00 p.m. El Dorado's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

El Dorado is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Sheridan on Tuesday. Neither El Dorado nor Sheridan could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Hot Springs' offense. They came up short against Benton on Tuesday, falling 8-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost nine in a row.

With that draw, El Dorado's record moves to 1-3-1. As for Hot Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

El Dorado beat Hot Springs 3-1 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for El Dorado since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
