Basketball Recap: Beacon Academy Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Beacon Academy Trailblazers came up short against the MCC Crescents and fell 37-24.

MCC found their leader in sophomore Sundes Taboo, who posted 16 points.

Beacon Academy's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-7. As for MCC, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.

Beacon Academy has already played their next game (against Christian Heritage Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. MCC will challenge Islamic Foundation at 5:00 p.m. on January 31st.
