Soccer Recap: Bayside Comes Up Short

Bayside lost against Landstown back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Marlins came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Bayside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 179th, while Landstown are ranked 41st).

Bayside's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Landstown, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Coming up, Bayside will be playing at home against Norview at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Landstown, they will head out on the road to take on Kempsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Landstown will need to watch out since Kempsville have now posted at least four goals in their last six matches.
