Lake Country Lutheran won the last time they faced Living Word Lutheran and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lightning blew past the Timberwolves 21-6.
Ava Budnik made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Budnik was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
