Basketball Recap: Trout Lake Comes Up Short

Trout Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by the Dufur Rangers 83-25. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 271st in Washington, while the Rangers are ranked 104th in Oregon).

Trout Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Dufur, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trout Lake has already played their next game (against Klickitat-Glenwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dufur and North Douglas will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
