Soccer Game Preview: Eno River Academy vs. Woods Charter

The Eno River Academy Bobcats will face off against the Woods Charter Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Eno River Academy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Eno River Academy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Vance Charter, falling 5-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Eno River Academy were already down 4-1.

Meanwhile, Woods Charter won against River Mill on Wednesday with three goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Monday. Wolves narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Chatham Charter 3-2. The win continues a trend for Woods Charter in their matchups with Chatham Charter: they've now won five in a row.

Eno River Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Woods Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2-1.

Eno River Academy beat Woods Charter by a goal when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 2-1. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
