Royal Palm Beach skates past FAU High with ease

The Royal Palm Beach Wildcats won the last time they faced the FAU High Owls, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Royal Palm Beach simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat FAU High 90-44 on the road. Given Royal Palm Beach's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while FAU High is ranked 470th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Royal Palm Beach's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayden Coney, who scored 19 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlos Canales, who scored 14 points along with 6 assists and 3 steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Royal Palm Beach and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for FAU High, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Royal Palm Beach will take on Clewiston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. FAU High won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Trinity Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on November 30th. Hopefully Trinity Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Tuesday.
