Sacred Heart-Griffin extended their postseason success on Wednesday against North Mac. They blew past the Panthers 12-1. Considering the Cyclones have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Sacred Heart-Griffin's third in a row) raised their record to 22-8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for North Mac, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-8 record this season.
