Skyline had to settle for second on Saturday, but Cameron Kerns sure wasn't going down easily. Kerns tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. The effort also marked the fewest walks (two) he has had since back in March.

Kerns and Skyline will face off against Handley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Sadly, Kerns' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Hawks' five-game streak of wins on the road.
