Soccer Recap: East Carteret Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to six goals the game before, East Carteret was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lejeune Devilpups. While losing is never fun, East Carteret can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 540th, while Lejeune are ranked 109th).

East Carteret's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-8. As for Lejeune, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0-1.
