South Lyon won the last time they faced Franklin and things went their way on Monday too. The Lions were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Patriots. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won eight matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

South Lyon is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Franklin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Lyon will face off against Walled Lake Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Franklin, they are taking a road trip to square off against Glenn at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
