Softball Recap: Antioch Takes a Loss

Antioch lost to Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet back in March of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bears lost 22-3 to the Royals. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Antioch saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rihanna Williams, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI. That hit was Williams' first of the season.

Antioch's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-7.

Coming up, Antioch is taking a road trip to square off against Hunters Lane at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet, they will host Centennial at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
