Basketball Recap: Delavan-Darien Comes Up Short

Delavan-Darien was the 63-52 winner over Fort Atkinson when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Delavan-Darien Comets fell to the Fort Atkinson Blackhawks 52-47.

Delavan-Darien dropped their record down to 8-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Fort Atkinson, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Delavan-Darien will square off against Whitewater at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fort Atkinson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Oregon at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Oregon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Fort Atkinson likes a good challenge.
