Basketball Game Preview: Galesburg Silver Streaks vs. Quincy Blue Devils

The Galesburg Silver Streaks will challenge the Quincy Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Quincy is hoping to do what East Moline United couldn't on Saturday: put an end to Galesburg's winning streak, which now stands at six games. Galesburg blew past East Moline United 56-18. The matchup marked the Silver Streaks' most dominant win of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Quincy made easy work of Macomb on Wednesday and carried off a 50-30 victory.

Quincy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Galesburg, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Galesburg ended up a good deal behind Quincy in their previous matchup back in January, losing 62-43.
