Soccer Recap: Nimitz Takes a Loss

Nimitz lost against Pearce back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Nimitz Vikings lost 3-0 to the Pearce Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 290th, while the Mustangs are ranked 137th).

Nimitz's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Pearce, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Nimitz does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pearce, they will venture away from home to face off against Berkner at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Berkner has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with six straight losses, while Pearce will come in with four straight victories.
