Basketball Recap: Friendship Christian Comes Up Short

Friendship Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were dealt a 50-11 defeat at the hands of the St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-17 back in January.

Adella Dehring continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for St. Thomas More Academy, putting up 14 points and six steals. Dehring has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times she's played. Winnie Dehring was another key player, earning nine points in addition to five rebounds and five steals.

Friendship Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for St. Thomas More Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-11.

As of now, neither Friendship Christian nor St. Thomas More Academy have any future games scheduled.
