Softball Recap: Bell Comes Up Short

Bell lost against Trinity back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bell Blue Raiders took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trinity Trojans. The Blue Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Reagan Bennett made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.

Bell's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Trinity, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bell will take on Timber Creek at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity, they will face off against Keller Central at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Keller Central has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight defeats, while Trinity will come in with six straight wins.
