Basketball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-53 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brookwood Panthers. The Falcons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 41-37.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Brookwood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-13.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-38 loss against Hale County on the 24th. As for Brookwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northside will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Brookwood surely won't give up without a fight.
