Volleyball Recap: Palm Grove Christian Comes Up Short

Palm Grove Christian lost against Venice back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Gators lost 3-0 to the Indians.

Palm Grove Christian was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-22, 26-24.

Palm Grove Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Venice, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1.

Coming up, Palm Grove Christian will face off against Gulf Coast H at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in the Gators' favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while the HEAT have been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road. As for Venice, they will challenge Berkeley Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians are facing the Buccaneers at the right time seeing as the Buccaneers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
